Help Increase Statewide Democratic Voter Turnout in 2012

To kick off the 2012 campaign season, the California Democratic Party has launched two important new programs to increase Democratic voter turnout in the 2012 elections:
-
"It Gets Bluer" in the Inland Empire
Latino Voter Registration Project
-
Launched in August, this is the first joint (state and local) Latino Voter Registration Project in the Inland Empire. The CDP is working with partners in San Bernardino and Riverside counties to turn this GOP stronghold blue by using 2010 Census data to target emerging communities with high densities of unregistered and potentially Democratic-leaning voters. Volunteers from both inside and outside the area are needed to assist in this effort.

Operation Game Changer
Vote-By-Mail Conversion Program in Los Angeles County
-
More than 2 million registered Democrats live in Los Angeles County, but it has the lowest percentage of Vote-By-Mail voters in the state. Converting these Democratic voters to permanent Vote-By-Mail status will increase our turnout in 2012 and help defeat Republican candidates and ballot initiatives.
-
Volunteers from outside LA County are needed to help phone. To volunteer, click here.
